Vanquishing so many communicable diseases through vaccination is one of the greatest achievements in the history of public health. Are we going to give it all away for nothing?
About this Florida vaccine story:

When they were little - 1 yr and 3 1/2 - my two older boys, who’d had all their shots, got whooping cough.

We asked their pediatrician what would’ve happened if they hadn’t been vaccinated.

“Oh, they’d have died.”

This administration sent 200+ fathers, sons, and husbands to be tortured in a foreign prison for the rest of their lives. 9 in 10 have no criminal record. None received any due process.

If you *aren’t* outraged, you need to check your fucking humanity.

I want to tell you why the case of Kilmar Abrego Garcia should matter to you.

The one power you cannot give the executive is the ability to imprison or expel anyone regardless of their legal rights. That is our key check against autocracy. And we are watching it disappear.

It's critical for everyone to remember what an Executive Order is. It is the President communicating orders to members of the executive branch. Policies to pursue, actions to take, etc. They are not laws. They are not close to being laws. They are formalized memos to employees. That's all.

A Friday night purge targeted USAGM & Voice of America, the U.S. state media outlet that broadcast stories about democracy into Nazi Germany & occupied Europe in World War II:
apnews.com/article/voic... Trump & Musk firing journalists is a frontal attack on press freedom, & must be reported as such.
Voice of America is required by law to report the news accurately. Could Donald Trump change that?
It’s called the Voice of America. The storied news outlet has promised “the truth” since it first broadcast stories about democracy into Nazi Germany during World War II.
