Geometry just needs to be two units:
* Yep, it adds to 180!
* Ok, but what if we cut it in half like THIS?

200 years ago today, October 26, 1825:

The Erie Canal was ceremonially opened in Buffalo, New York. The 363-mile-long artificial waterway stretched from Albany on the Hudson River to Buffalo on Lake Erie, connecting the Great Lakes to the Atlantic Ocean. It transformed Buffalo into a major hub.

Is it universally true that there is a shortage of red cuisenaire rods? Or do they just blink into another dimension in my presence?

Peter Singh TDSB : how do you ensure that time saved by #AI doesn't turn into "latte time" (his words) for teachers.
Well first. Every time saving innovation over the past hundred years has not reduced teacher work hours.
And second. OFFENDED.

The gap between teacher pay and other college graduates’ pay is the highest it’s been in over four decades.

Is there a “teacher shortage,” or a shortage of jobs that treat educators with the pay, dignity, and support they deserve?

Phew, demonstrating long division in base four starts to feel very numberwang very fast.

Yep a good-faith critique of learning loss would lead to proposals for a massive, New Deal-scale investment in public education. The people pushing the narrative are doing precisely the opposite.
'blue states closed too early' is said by the same people who are working to close public schools, so you know it's not that they care about children's education.

As the piece notes, the PragerU propaganda is being used in schools in Louisiana, Florida, New Hampshire, Oklahoma, Montana, Arizona, South Carolina and Idaho.

Check with your district to see if they're using this garbage to brainwash your kids.
Friendly reminder that school administrators tend to take complaints from parents much more seriously than the same complaints from teachers. So if your kids’ school district is using PragerU stuff, please speak up.
