@pfrazee.com can we please address the safety concerns with this automod? this is putting people like me in danger.

(i am tagging you because your team refuses to use official channels to announce rollouts and policy changes. this is a change that was announced by you.)
twitter hiding replies from me is how my stalker was able to reply to me for months talking about raping me and cutting me into pieces without my knowledge. he was violating my protection order and i didn’t even know it.

it kept him out of jail.
THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT

Hiding replies without my consent is *dangerous to me*

I use the mute function extremely carefully for a reason

I need to know if people are being violent at me so I can take action to protect myself

I need to be able to choose for myself who hidden

So not only do they need to label rooms to help him remember where he is, but they don't think they're going to need to do so for much longer.

Oh, this is a good mnemonic -

Walking up to Trump and saying "Zohran is loved by *his* mom, Donny"
I was guilty of this until I thought of his name as a combination of two words: mom and donny. it still rolls more slowly off the tongue but I'll have plenty of practice

Republicans running anti-trans hatefests lost and Zohran Mamdani is a hugely vocal supporter of trans and other LGBTQ rights.

That is MASSIVELY important to look at and run on.

Roll around in all this & soak it in. This is the good shit, & it should be celebrated.

And then it should be Built on.

A beautifully written wish for change. Even small steps forward are still progress:
I'm seeing a lot of people chiding others for celebrating Mamdani’s victory. He's not a hero or a liberator, they say. He's a psyop to get people to support the Democratic party or empire, they say. If you support him, you're either a fake progressive or a shill, they say.

I completely disagree.

Holy frack, this is amazing!
BREAKING: In Colorado, Voters approved a ballot measure to raise state income taxes on households earning $300,000 or more in order to fund free meals for all public school students.

They voted to raise taxes on the wealthy to pay for free meals for public school students.

At the risk of enraging the mods:

I can't wait to have an answer!
The question lurking behind all of this, of course, is what happens when the personalistic cult leader is no longer around.
Trump has a personalistic cult he is able to activate when he is on the presidential ballot. A large portion of this cult are simple MAGA bigots from the GOP base. But it's rounded out by low-engagement / low trust voters who show up only for him. (1/n)

basically every 2024 truism is dead. Trump did not build a lasting multiracial coalition or turn young men into committed Republicans. You don’t need to cave on trans rights to win. The pundits have nothing left to tell you.

Hey Dems! Next time you suggest abandoning LGBTQ+ voters, maybe have a chat with @zohrankmamdani.bsky.social
This needs more attention: Zohran SPLIT the straights with Cuomo. ALL of his margin was from LGBTQ+ voters. Every Dem who ever said “we should abandon the transes” needs this shoved down their fucking throat with a ramrod.

So, it’s gonna be on us to repudiate all of that, to make the establishment Dems fear for their seats and their livelihoods. We’re going to have to make clear that there’s no way in fuck we’re going to let them drag us back to business as usual.

Fuck all that.
