All I know about this show is that the lead character looks like the smuggest person in the world in all of the season pictures that pop up while I'm trying to watch other shows. Is that actually her character, or is, "Isn't this great? Don't you wish you were me?" a hook to get people to watch?

(To be 150% clear, the impending voice actor strike caused a ton of crunch and pain and ugly decisions in order to finish writing before it hit, and none of that was the fault of the voice actors, who have my full support.)

Older son helped and wanted to patch more than we needed, but I will take the help still!

You should be concerned about the rate of authors leaving publishing. Especially from marginalized communities. This year I have seen so many authors just pack it up and go. And it's only getting worse.
