This also reminded me of this fun little piece Chico Resch did when the Devils came to CO in 2023. Chico was the goaltender for the Rockies when they moved to NJ & is still part of the broadcast team

On relocated teams wearing the uniforms of their old location - I'm for it, but on some conditions (which the Avs are doing with Nords today).
At some point teams old teams just get forgotten, and i think it's better if they are remembered.
