Let's all be clear that QAnon never cared about child sex abuse, the whole thing was always an excuse to demonize their enemies and share titillating (to them) images of the sexual abuse of children.

The only time I have EVER encountered explicit child porn online was on a QAnon Telegram channel

This table topped with coffee beans was in the green room at MSNBC for at least 15 years, back to when Morning Joe was sponsored by Starbucks. The beans were fuzzy in places and had lost their smell.

Today was MSNBC’s last day at 30 Rock, and I guess the beans aren’t making the move.

Most buyers sourcing squid from Chinese vessels accused of crew abuse and deaths are based in North America — nearly half in the U.S. and one-third in Canada, according to a September report by the London-based nonprofit @ejfoundation.org.

'Matt Gaetz Raped A Homeless Teenager' is what you mean.

A teenager with a homeless parent? What? The fuck? Did she have a home and not allow her parent to live in it? Ended up having sex with? What? Yeah clearly you guys been caping for pedos long enough and you understand the assignment here
A teenager in Florida with a homeless parent wanted money for braces and ended up having sex for money with powerful men, setting off a chain of events that would have a dramatic impact on her life and help upend the political career of Representative Matt Gaetz. nyti.ms/49PSkL9

"There is so much about the draft papers that have caused some who’ve seen it to privately complain that it reads like openly fascist European rantings from the first half of the 20th century."

Zeteo scoop on a "bonkers" national security strategy draft:
Trump’s Unpublished National Security Strategy Is Stephen Miller’s Far-Right Wet Dream
The president’s new national-security draft document rants against migration and cultural “erasure” – and endorses far-right political parties abroad, sources tell Zeteo.

I find the phrase “makes history” nonsensical. Have you seen the stuff historians study? Just dropping an old piece of farm equipment down a well or accidentally freezing to death in a glacier gives you a good shot at the history books

They rounded a bunch of random Venezuelans with tats and pretended they were in tren de aragua, then started blowing up random Venezuelan boats they claim “carried drugs,” in order to slowly groom their base into supporting a full ground war on Venezuela that was always about oil
Whole bunch of stuff beginning to make a lot of sense.

it's a HORRIBLE TIME to be a survivor of humbert humbert / epstein style predation.

everyone talks about this like it happens to OTHER people.

we need to with how common grooming is — from teachers, youth group leaders, camp counselors, uncles, etc.

sending support to all survivors 🥺

We're getting down to "Well, he doesn't wear the uniform or have a weird little mustache" as one of the last remaining explanations of how JD Vance is not an actual Nazi.
JD Vance: "A lot of young people are saying housing is way too expensive. Why is that? Because we flooded the country with 30 million illegal immigrants who were taking houses that ought by right go to American citizens."

Ugh.“Epstein’s donations to scientific researchers were unlikely to have exceeded a few tens of millions of $, Science mag estimated in 2019. Epstein told the magazine in 2017 that he favored ‘rebel’ scientists & criticized institutions such as the MacArthur Foundation as too ‘politically correct.’”
“‘The Epstein affair brings to light a much larger problem,’ [Naomi] Oreskes wrote [in 2020]. ‘It undermines the integrity of the research enterprise when individuals can pick and choose lines of inquiry that appeal to them simply because they can pay for them.’”

one of the funnier bits about moving from a blue state to a red state is that red states still need money to run things and will often just collect it via fees instead

so you pay less in taxes but everything else is more expensive and you don’t actually come out much better
Decent number of the California conservative transplants to Texas have been surprised to find 1: it's not actually that much cheaper, 2: our services suck, 3: they will still be treated like blue haired hippies just for being from California
