Just experienced the most intense tear gassing of my life by federal officers outside the ICE facility in Portland where marchers gathered. There was no fast exit as they indiscriminately threw loads of gas and flash bangs. Children were in the crowd screaming. @oregoncapitalchronicle.com

It’s not denialism. I know the horrors are there. They keep coming. It’s just that so few of them are actionable for me (and the vast majority are unsolicited spam), so it’s all noise at this point. If a horror is really important, they know to contact me in person or on Signal.

The frontlines in Ukraine as we knew them do not exist anymore. The grey zone now includes multiple small villages between drone operator positions. Russia has stopped advancing because there is no way to advance through this as long as Ukraine can make enough drones.

I drove by this area 30 minutes ago. You see this guy every day, friendly and just a fixture. This is the same intersection ICE snatched people two weeks ago in. It's the heart of Echo Park.
ICE took the flower man in Echo Park 40 minutes ago. He’s at this corner every day. I’ve bought flowers from the man and woman here for anniversaries and birthdays. Lemmy loves to smell them whenever we walk by in the mornings. I was just at the street corner 15 minutes before it happened. Fuck.
