This has been a common criticism of The Game Awards, but it really is shitty how many of the awards are just arbitrarily shoved off to the side into those rapid fire sections where the developers don’t even get a chance to accept the award. It’s almost certainly done to fit in more ads and trailers.

That final reveal was super underwhelming. Just another generic multiplayer shooter that looks destined to shut down its servers in two years max.

That was the most predictable GOTY win TGA has ever had. Not saying that as a negative. Just that it's really been their night.

I'm not even mad that Sonic Racing Crossworlds specifically lost, Mario Kart World just straight up did not deserve "Best Racing/Sport Game." Kirby Air Riders wasn't even nominated.

So I just discovered that there’s apparently a group of fans working on a fan edit of the first Sonic movie which restores the original ugly design. I have to admire the dedication to recreate a version of the movie that could have resulted in a very different trajectory for the series this decade.

These walking genital warts don't know a thing about breastfeeding. NOTHING. They don't know a damn thing about the challenges/issues that can arise. They don't know how damn long it took to get legal protection for people to pump at work. They don't respect the body autonomy of a primary parent.

The Netflix WB acquisition is a five alarm fire for the film industry. Netflix’s CEO couldn’t even hold his tongue for a few hours before yapping about shortening the already shortened theatrical windows of WB films. Not to mention the uncertainty of WB physical releases.

The US is close to an institutional collapse across multiple public health agencies. Trump/RFK have purged anyone with expertise, many have fled and they’ve been replaced w functionaries who are either incompetent or malicious. I don’t think many understand how close to the edge we are right now.
