Caregiver. Proofreader. Musician. Badger at the teddy bear's picnic. Antifascist, anticapitalist; but I repeat myself. I don't know if love is guaranteed going to save us, but I'm pretty sure it's the only thing that might.

You can't... repeal... a scientific finding. At that point it's just called lying about it.
Breaking News: The Trump administration repealed the bedrock scientific finding that greenhouse gases threaten human life and well being, meaning that the EPA can no longer regulate them. nyti.ms/4rSszQu

May the God who gifted us with the knowledge of mercy & the knowledge of justice, Who mourns with all who mourn & holds the shards of brokenness in loving hands, keep faith with all who live with such horror, & guide us in the binding of their wounds & the building of the justice they deserve.

THIS IS WHAT I'VE BEEN SAYING
If a "strong economy" can coincide with—or, more precisely, create—surging homelessness and insecurity, then maybe it's time to rethink our terminology.

I know I recommend it a lot, but more people really should read “Mumbo Jumbo” by Ishmael Reed, I can’t be the only person out here getting these references I need a community.
It literally had a heterosexual wedding, dude

To speak ill of the dead for a moment: Christopher Hitchens, who got his reputation largely on the strength of being relentlessly prolific. There are a few essays that might persuade a young person of his genius; but the more of his stuff you read, the notion that he was a deep thinker evaporates.
Not to be relentlessly negative, but let’s enjoy ourselves a bit.

Who is the Dumbest Guy That Has A Reputation For Being Smart?

Musk seems the clear winner, so let’s say: who else might be in the Top 10?

I’ll start the proceedings with Ezra Klein, the Abundance boy. Not impressive!

While this seems like a risky gambit for the president's team, there is judicial precedent as established in the decision in Rubber v. Glue (1954)
There’s not denying it and there’s whatever this is.

It’s a sad state of affairs that we’ve all just gotten used to childish, wildly inappropriate behavior from our own president. He shares AI slop, calls reporters pigs, says a million things a day…
