It’s great to be paid for protesting and everything but let me tell you the whole antifa reimbursement process is just terrible

He’s giving our taxpayer dollars $20b to Argentina and telling American workers no pay. Is he kidding?!!!

If Rep. Jeffries (or any Democrat!) had said this...🙄

REPORTER: We know the president moved forward with mass layoffs. We're also learning there were significant cuts to staff at special education services. Are you comfortable with those cuts?

MIKE JOHNSON: I haven't seen the specifics of that and I don't know

You can just share my video from me instead of sharing a screen recording of my video from a content farm account that isn’t on the scene btw.

If marches and riots are really the catalysts for change, why aren't they outside of Trump Tower/golf courses/Lafayette Square 24/7?

Oh. Well.
No one, really. Electoralism has never actually accomplished much of anything. It was the marches and the riots, and a little bit of support from a uniquely progressive Supreme Court, that ended segregation more than anything else.
October 11, 2025 at 4:15 PM Bernie Sanders really is just the prime example for how being right about everything all the time will curse you with never being able to retire until you die, lest you be replaced by someone worse.

Why is it usually some edgy white trans fem posting insane and racist dogshit tripe like this? Ladies, WAKE UP! Black people got beaten and killed for registering to vote/voting.

Your idiocy and the fact that it has fans and becomes dogma makes my life materially harder as a Black trans person.

Tony Blinken disclosing that the 20-point peace plan was pretty much word-for-word a copy of the peace plan that the Biden White House left for the incoming Trump administration *that they had printed out and left in a secured drawer for them* is one of the least surprising tidbits we've learned.

This seems like confirmation
Then Mr. Trump won the presidency back, and the Biden administration was determined to get a cease-fire in place by January, before it left office. It drafted a peace plan, much of which was quite similar to the “20 point plan” Mr. Trump recently issued. There was slow progress: More than 130 hostages had been released by the time the January cease-fire took place.

“We handed over a cease-fire that silenced the guns, had hostages coming out and aid going in, along with a day-after plan to make it permanent,” Mr. Blinken said. But when the new administration took over, “the moment was squandered,” he added. “Israel and Hamas went back to war for eight months.”

Israeli officials tell a different story. Mr. Biden was a lame duck, they noted, and disengaged. Mr. Trump was a known entity, less likely to lecture Mr. Netanyahu in private or public. They put their money on a new president, and a new negotiating team

"Controlling Gaza has made the terror group billions of dollars and enhanced its position and relevance across the world."

Why doesn't Free Palestine ever ask where those billions went? Their people have been starving, the infrastructure is obliterated.

What next for Hamas? Still armed and still demanding power
The American president’s proposals could lead to an end to the war rather than just a ceasefire and hostage deal — provided the world’s attention does not slip

I think thats certainly part of it but the other part is that Netanyahu clearly hated Biden & the Dem administration writ large and actively resisted all attempts to curtail his govs actions. A real good lesson for future Dem admins of how much political capital they should expend for that country.

My hot take here is that Afghanistan made the Biden admin extremely adverse to rocking the boat re: foreign policy in the ME. Maybe they couldve been more forceful in reigning Bibi in but there wasn't any appetite to do so after their last major action destroyed their reputation.

At the cost of how many lives?

What strikes me is how the other Gulf states do not give a shit about Palestinians

Its worth thinking about that the thing Trump did to actually bring this war to a close was by his existence embolden Bibi to take the strike in Qatar and thus woke up the Gulf states.
dabenner.bsky.social
This piece was long and circuitous, and the takeaway was bombing Qatar, which had thought it paid trump off, finally went too far. It only hints at months of using deliberate starvation as a weapon on a scale it hadn't been previously, to take a deal that was on the table for months.

Is anyone going to comment how weird it is that he's seated and everyone else is standing?

And at this point, we should probably just give him those giant crayons that are meant for small children learning how to hold writing instruments.🙄
