The Epstein story gets a something that is tearing at the heart of the electorate: elite impunity. The idea that wealthy and powerful people can do terrible things *at scale* and face no consequences for them. Whatever political party actually stops it could rule the country for a generation.

AOC: "It is unconscionable that what we are debating right now is legislation that will give 8 senators over $1 million a piece & we're robbing people of their food assistance & healthcare to pay for it. How can we vote to enrich ourselves by stealing from the American people?"

The New York Giants QB room was always an allegory for the New York City Mayor’s Race:

A young and potentially reckless savior (Zohran/Dart)

A classic New York Crazy but at least he loves this city/football (Sliwa/Jameis Winston)

BOOOOOOOOOO/GET THE FUCK OUT OF HERE (Cuomo/Russell Wilson)

Yeah I think so.
The president of the united states is a pedophile rapist who was best buddies with Jeffrey Epstein and spent hours with an underage victim at Epstein's home. Now he's currently huddled in the situation room directing a cover up about it like it's a seal team 6 operation. Do I have that right?

Why are people still working at the airport if they aren't getting paid. Stay home and let the airlines figure it out. Fuck it. The less planes in the air the better.

The billionaires can buy the newspapers and buy social media and buy attack ads, but they can't buy their way out of how much we fucking hate all of them.

Wow. A common sense gun law getting approved by voters. Awesome to see. Need more of this everywhere!
NBC News: Voters in Maine approved a ballot measure that will impose a red flag law across the state — allowing people to petition courts to temporarily confiscate their family members' firearms in certain cases.

Q: What did you mean when you said you're prepared to send 'more than the National Guard' into American cities?

TRUMP: if I want to enact a certain act, I'd be allowed to do whatever I want. The courts wouldn't get involved. Nobody would. I could send Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines -anybody I want

The Walton family (who own Walmart) are worth over $400 billion, yet many of their employees are on SNAP.

Bezos is worth over $400 billion, many Amazon employees require SNAP.

The people who need help are not the problem.

It’s corporate greed. It’s an unwillingness to pay a living wage.
