The Canadian Justice system loses $20 billion year.

The Canadian military loses $34 billion a year.

Canadian Health Care loses $372 billion a year.

Imagine if Carneys liberals talked about services like it does the Post Office.

Lots hadn't seen people in a decade or more. Wish we all could spend more time doing things with more people, but as we age and families grow and expand, it seems like it gets harder to see everyone.

This was really good to read. We had a surprise 90th birthday for my wife's grandma this weekend. It was cousins upon cousins upon cousins through generations cole and go lunch followed by a huge Thanksgiving meal with every family down to the great grandkids.

“I’m a cop. I am not supposed to feel dread. He’s a brown person. HE’S supposed to feel dread!”

Bari nods sympathetically.

Lmao is this supposed to be a bad thing?
A tweet from Bari Weiss that says “"It's shaken me to my core," a lieutenant said of Mamdani's unexpected victory in June. "The absolute dread I feel is palpable.
"
Today in @TheFP our @Olivia_Reingold talks to the cops who say they will walk if Zohran Mamdani is elected in November:”

Thanksgiving in Canada has nothing to do with Columbus!

We are a colonial country with a million things to atone for but Thanksgiving is not one of them.

Our Thanksgiving is timed with the harvest and it's literally just "Be grateful for harvest"

US Imperialism has brain rotted too many of you.

Who stands to benefit from the gutting of Canada Post?

The billionaire class.

If Mark Carney were really serious about nation-building, Dru OJa Jay writes how the post office could become an engine for green energy, public banking, and better services. breachmedia.ca/canada-post-...
Canada Post faces two futures—a revitalized public service or a billionaire cash machine ⋆ The Breach
The Liberal government is dismantling Canada Post for the billionaire class, while ignoring bold proposals from postal workers to reinvent the public service

This sexist policy will affect more cis-gender girls and transgender. Any girl that is taller, stronger, and tougher might get singled out.
Also, good way to take out the best players of the opposing team for a few weeks.
Conservatives are preoccupied with girls genitals. This is sick.

From what I understand, consultations like this one go on the record and even if the government ignores them (which, in this case, they almost certainly will), they can still be used to embarrass them and point out that they're not doing what the public they claim to represent wants.

I did this, took like 30 min.
Points I kept hammering: domestic cloud, regulations around copyright and likeness rights, focusing on machine learning with concrete, real world uses (creating new drugs, etc), the damage done by slop, the need to listen to AI experts who are realists, not boosters.

My friend Stevie White Magpie is a Lakota grandmother who lives in Box Elder, SD. She's been raising her 3 grandkids and last week her daughter died in a car crash, so now she's raising 4. She needs help with food and clothes for them, if anyone is able.

Marvel employees were asked whether the 'WONDER MAN' poster for the in-universe movie was created using Al.
"Its artwork made by artists but touched up by Al," which was clarified with "so, really Al-assisted Photoshop work," and the response was "yes."

Canada is not a resource buffet for Silicon Valley. OpenAI’s push to build massive data centers here isn’t about empowering Canadians—it’s about exploiting our cheap energy, land, and regulatory gaps. #AIregulations #CanadaAI

I came back to tell the Liberals they can quit burying their heads in the sand now. There’s a ceasefire. You can act like you were against the genocide all along now.
