As month end approaches, I have to post our reminder that we gratefully accept kokum gifts that help us and many others survive right now. I live on a small pension raising teens and it helps so much to have beautiful souls who care about us. It is a lot to overcome alone. Love to all this day💞🪶
I am grateful for so many things, so many good things. Grateful for a strong friend circle, a loving family Creator has given me. I am grateful I can wake each day and say this again and again. Have a wonderful day 💕🪶

Welp, was a bit tougher on this class because we discuss racism. I speak of how it is in SK., and why we are not really seeing hope of reconciliation if truth is not honored first. Two white girls kept giggling while I spoke of our dead loved ones. Teach your kids better, people. 🪶

Saskatoon must be doing something right (not), their houseless count went up another 500 people this last year. Sigh. No matter what we say, we are not heard. White faces are heard and helping themselves to the guiltless nights by using band aids and brown faces that elevate them. Just saying. 💔🪶

Not really sure there is a point in sharing but we will. Its been a long month for myself, the kids and a few elders we help along the way. We gratefully accept gifts if you appreciate the content or even if you think a little deeper and it helps somehow. They help so very much and we survive
