As month end approaches, I have to post our reminder that we gratefully accept kokum gifts that help us and many others survive right now. I live on a small pension raising teens and it helps so much to have beautiful souls who care about us. It is a lot to overcome alone. Love to all this day💞🪶

"Prizes" are scams. Accolades are scams. They are bought and paid for.

A great example: look at the accolades given to a barely sentient roll of garbage bags like Caroline Mulroney.

Meant to create a persona of intellect, integrity and achievement 'cuz she's dumb as shit and her Dad's a crook.

So, I was not really able to see through my pain for a bit to post this, but here it goes. For over 6 years, my family and a few helpers here served out nearly 66,000 hot meals to our community and over 4,500 food support hampers to families and elders. Not including the holiday hampers.

Don't ever think that what we see at the very top isn't around kitchen tables and ingrained into communities too. Shit always rolls downhill. When your neighbors start looking at you as an enemy its because they ALREADY saw you this way. Someone just made it ok to show you. Tapwe 🪶

Being afraid of losing housing is one of the worst feelings in this land. And those who lose their housing, are struggling in such horrid conditions. You wouldn't wish this on a loved one. Everyone IS someone's loved one. 💔🪶Please help or share

Went and collected my son from the streets for this time. He was soaking wet and its started snowing. Hoping I can give him shelter for a few days and figure out what comes next for him. I wish everyone had options. Especially those with complex needs. We will cook while he rests and warms 💔🪶

risk of hypothermia with this weather. Fall is beautiful for many, when you have shelter. It is a time of the start of hardships and cold injury for many. The majority here without shelter are Indigenous. 💔🪶
