We can fight islamophobia and antisemitism at the same time. No, we HAVE to fight them at the same time. It's the only way. I've been talking about this for years, just not on online, because it is disheartening to go online and see everyone debate your humanity while no one stands up for you.

1. Why do we need cops for the majority of this? (Even I'll relent slightly when the concern involves a firearm)
2. I LOL'd when it talks about how they hand out cigarettes after all the shit PSR has gotten about it. Yes, smokes are one of the ultimate de-escalation tools.

I think one thing our city council does that upsets people is remind them that they aren't actually "progressives" because they hate actual progressive policy.
They just like seeing themselves in opposition to conservatives, even if they aren't.

Tina Kotek is out here telling unions that she’s trying to kill Multnomah County Preschool for All because businesses are demanding statewide preschool for all.
Either:

I know I say this often but bedtime discourse is awesome because it strips away so many of the aspects of control we see as needed and you can find out who exactly believes "doing what you're told by authority is a virtue"
