I for one am not comfortable paying taxes to Trump or the fascists running the country and if he is just stealing our money in this way I feel no need to give the government taxes.

PHILLY: Apparently there’s a protest “against gun violence scheduled to start at 3pm today and go from the Art Museum into Kensington. The chuds *will be armed and open-carrying* and several local schools have already sent students home out of caution. Cops are already at the Art Museum.

Good morning Freire Families -
Freire Charter High School will dismiss at 1PM today. All students must go directly home and all after school activities are cancelled.
At 10:30 today all Center City Schools were called to an urgent and unscheduled meeting around school safety.
Law Enforcement has advised all schools in Center City to dismiss early. They didn't give great detail, but shared that there is a planned protest happening today at 3PM and some of the participants have Open-Carry permits and may be brandishing firearms/assault weapons down the Parkway and into Center City.
There is some level of uncertainty and the potential for counter-protests.
We are working with the other schools in the area and law enforcement for a staggered dismissal. Freire Charter High School will dismiss at approximately 1PM after they report to their 5th period classes. With the protest planned for 3PM, there is not any indication of immediate safety concerns and dismissing at 1PM.
This allows for time for the other center city schools to dismiss (starting at 11:30) and for the crowds to thin out before our community dismisses.
The current plan is for students to report to their 5th period class at
1PM and classrooms will be dismissed individually so we can have a safe and orderly dismissal.
I apologize for the inconvenience and I can assure you we have moved swiftly and thoughtfully in how to pivot on short notice.

Today, the School District of Philadelphia was notified of a planned protest that will be occurring this afternoon. Out of an abundance of caution for our students and staff, Masterman will dismiss early today at 2:00 p.m.
All after-school activities will be cancelled or postponed. The Philadelphia Police Department
(PPD) will be in the area of the planned protest.
I want to reiterate that the safety and wellbeing of our students and staff are our top priority.
