If you immediately spike the ball on every down, you will never turn it over, never take a sack, and end every drive with a kick. Perhaps Sirianni will try that next.
Hard not to notice from this chart that the 4 lowest sack% games for the #Eagles are the 4 since the bye.

The offense was already focused too much on turnover avoidance. If they spent the bye adding sack avoidance to their goals, it was probably the wrong focus.
Jalen Hurts threw the ball on every dropback last Friday vs Chicago--the first time in his career he completed a game without a sack or scramble.

We've discussed the lack of designed QB run game, but he is also scrambling much less: 5.8% since Week 2, was 9.0% in past years.

My contributions to Eagles offense discourse today: (1) Jalen Hurts gets the benefit of the doubt from me because he was the best player in the NFCCG and Super Bowl. Sirianni and Patullo do not get the benefit of the doubt because the offense has been garbage whenever they fully control it.

The Eagles deserve credit for their reputation of running like a baseball team in how power is divided. Now they need to run themselves like a soccer team in being as cold blooded and unsentimental as possible to a coaching staff that can only point to past accolades for its defense now.

Sirianni gotta go.

Sirianni genuinely looks unhealthy.

This unwatchable performance is made even worse by Al Michaels's obvious contempt for Philadelphia fans.

Between the conservative approach, the atrocious playcalling and offensive design, and the cascade of idiotic penalties, there's little evidence that Sirianni is adding anything of value at this point.
Absolutely can't give Sirianni another year. Personally would not give him another week.

Sirianni and Patullo frantically telling Jalen that this needs to be an eleven-minute drive that ends in a kick.

It is unconscionable how out-of-coordination this offense is.

Dak’s unreal record at home against the NFC East might have something to do with playing the Giants and Commanders a lot.

Pretty good!

Honestly, kind of impressive how every inside run is a drive-killer right now.

When is the last time the Eagles ran
a trick play?

Jordan Davis seems like a really good dude. Easy player to root for. www.inquirer.com/eagles/jorda...

It is amazing how Jalen saying, at *one* post-game press conference, that “the offense was going to look how [he] wants it to look” is talked about like a smoking gun that, actually, anything bad with the play calling and play design is his fault.

In the short term, I'd settle for Sirianni (1) taking a nap, and (2) picking up the playbook from 2022 and trying whatever he finds in there.
Something's gotta change on offense, man. Staying the course clearly is not the answer.

Eagles must change something up. Scoring 26 points in two games combined coming out of the bye isn't good enough.

Why.

Eagles getting pressure with 4 makes them so much more effective. Their blitz rate is way down the last two weeks.
November 17, 2025 at 4:12 AM
This is a team that used to go for it on fourth-and-goal with a trick play. Their idea of clever, aggressive offense now is to try to draw the defense offside.
November 17, 2025 at 2:32 AM
The most predictable thing in the world would be for this first play to be a telegraphed shot.
November 17, 2025 at 2:18 AM
Patullo continues to call plays like every run is an automatic five yards.

That run from the Eagles was disgusting behavior. Just absolutely repulsive. Why even have a roster this good if you're doing that?
