Hello 👋 we know an organizer with disabilities that wants to make sure that ppl can wear masks when they need to, that the right to mask to protect others & ourselves is guaranteed in WA State… is anyone working on this policy proposal in our state? Can you help this person do some organizing?

from the narrative my mom’s divorce lawyer asked her to write, which I’d never seen until this weekend

"We focused on traditional crusts rather than outliers like French bread or croissant pizzas."

Because Stouffer's French bread pepperoni would kick everyone else's ass.

I'm only sort of kidding.
Frozen pizza is special in its own right. But not every pizza is worth the freezer space. Wirecutter testers tasted 26 widely available frozen cheese and pepperoni pizzas. Here are their favorites: nyti.ms/483c6So

My Thanksgiving hot take it that it should be two-three days. All that work and it's over in a few hours. Weds. for cleaning, cooking, travel, etc.—some people like to get together and cook. Thursday is still the big meal. Friday is for hanging out, eating leftovers, going visiting locally.

My sister was concerned when our mom didn't answer the phone or respond to texts at 8 pm on a weeknight, so she went over there. She and Dad were watching that playoff game that went for I-can't-remember-how-many innings.

I talk about her in my Black abolitionists of NYC walking tour and usually no one has heard of her but she was Rosa Parks on the bus 100 years before that incident.
In 1855 Elizabeth Jennings Graham brought a suit that initiated the desegregation of NYC transit. Raised by politically active parents (her was mother formerly enslaved, her entrepreneur father was awarded a patent in 1821) Ms. Graham was a teacher, organist, & kindergarten founder.

It's a myth, Charlie Brown. You CAN put hot food in the refrigerator.

Divide large amounts into smaller portions and get them in within 2 hours. Bacteria can grow rapidly on food left out at room temp for +2 hours.
