Wow they really just waited for everyone to forget about it and then went ahead and did it anyway.
Breaking news: U.S. Coast Guard allows a new workplace harassment policy to take effect, downgrading the definition of swastikas and nooses from overt hate symbols to “potentially divisive” despite facing backlash over the new language.

The Coast Guard’s workplace harassment manual that downgrades the definition of swastikas and nooses quietly went into effect this week.

The Russian propagandists who whine about how horrible this war is enrage me the most. You dont get to start a war and then complain about horrible the war you started is. Its not that I find your suffering irrelevant, I just believe you deserve every bit of it.

Thanks to social media we may be approaching this point (men still get to be hot for longer ofc).

Gender equality by way of making it bad for everyone isn't what I had in mind tbh.
listen. men don't have to and aren't expected to do this shit on even REMOTELY the same level femme folks are. men don't have to worry that the expiration date for their career is the second they stop being cute and hot and "perky"

Going into Fury Road with absolutely no idea what to expect other than "an action movie with cars." When the film gets quiet for the first time around 20 minutes in the sold out theater was so quiet you could have heard a pin drop.
Raising the always fun question: What are your most memorable theater-going experiences?

Mine also include The Matrix, Blair Witch, and being way too stoned in Belgium when Fellowship of the Ring was sold out so we sat in the back row for Mulholland Drive instead.
It was hands-down one of the most memorable theater-going experiences I can remember, a collective 30-minute butt-clench/armrest-grab for the final climb. And we knew he lived! Wild.

This "tariffs are sometimes good" nonsense is literally the worst possible Democratic message.

Your political opponent literally blows up the global economy and your response is "maybe he has a point." Astounding malpractice.
For today's Democratic Daily Download: meet @deluzio.house.gov.

He explains how Trump's trade policy has been a chaotic mess.

We're offering hardworking Americans real policies to strengthen their families and communities—not fake populism to distract from tax giveaways to huge corporations.

It is crucial that liberals (and their parties) stand in the breach and say frankly that immigration is a tremendous economic benefit for which there is no substitute. The public does not have to like immigration (though it ought to), it just has to prefer it to economic decay.
If it were steel works we would have a government bailout plan, yet losing thousands of jobs at unis is met with a shrug. & unlike steelworks universities were profitable when they had foreign students.
