If you have a healthy subscriber base this is great. I hope you land a big fish. But the industry has been dying since I got into it. It sucks and I'm sorry.
Did you go to an ivy or come from money? Are you sexting with RFK Jr rn? If no to the above then I regret to inform you that the prognosis (based on my own experience) is not great

a remarkable story here: Rebecca Ruth Gould was able to interview the Nasrallahs, a Gazan family, in Egypt. Rachel Corrie died to save their home in 2003—though Israel ultimately demolished it.

their second home was destroyed in 2023. they remain in legal limbo in Egypt, as do many other refugees.
In 2003, Rachel Corrie was killed saving the Nasrallah family's Gaza home.

In May, Rebecca Gould interviewed the Nasrallahs. Like many others, they fled via Rafah to Egypt. With an uncertain legal status under the Egyptian state, they remain unable to truly rebuild.

There was a time when you sounded like a lunatic if you said the right hating on institutions they used to revere had a simple explanation: "it's just like the segregationists bricking the swimming pools". Thinking of this again for no reason as the images of the White House being bulldozed pop up.

That’s right AI is ushering in the wonderful age of human utopia: working 72 hours a week for a pervert
The grind culture that birthed many Big Tech companies from Google to Amazon is back.

As the AI race heats up, startups are promoting hardcore cultures like “996,” or working 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., six days a week.
Why these companies insist on a 72-hour work week
Start-ups are promoting hardcore cultures such as “996,” meaning working from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. six days a week, as they race to compete in AI.

“.. They are the asylum seekers, the rule followers. They go into the federal building holding papers .. hoping for a measure of due process. Some leave the courthouse with a hearing date set months or years from now. Others disappear into ICE’s prison system.”

Feds doing *traffic stops*:

“THP, ATF and FBI officers surrounded the car with a handicap placard hanging from the rearview mirror driven by an elderly Black woman and man….The woman … said the officers told her they pulled her over because the registration tags were not up to date [they were].”

Seems like this is something that should be in an ad or showed to a group of reporters in front of a podium by one of our many elected Dems who have staffers on this here platform reading the feed
Just receieved this today from Florida Blue. This is for a Bronze plan. Our monthly premiums are going from $333 (2025) to $2300 in 2026.
She's so courageous for doing this, especially since it seems like boxing really is her whole world and she's risking alienating herself from support networks with this lawsuit
This is well done on a labor front, but as someone who loves someone suffering from an extreme TBI, this interview is really well done on a human level as well.
Heather Hardy's new lawsuit, which will try to hold various boxing institutions responsible for the damage she took in the sport, is gonna be really interesting to watch. I spoke to her last year about what she's going through and her story is powerful.

An Ohio University professor was removed from teaching a MFA class a day after returning home from an Israeli prison where he was detained upon being illegally abducted from the flotilla.

His students [solidarity!] walked out on the replacement prof in protest.
