Also just to be clear self harm and eating disorders arent a social media contagion. Kids do it cause theyβre miserable and will do it without being prompted by the internet. I sure know i did before ever seeing content about it

That the murder of Brianna Ghey has been so completely co-opted by the "ban kids from using phones" brigade sickens me to my fucking core. Whatever her killers were looking at it's undeniable that the landslide of transphobic propaganda in the media played a crucial role in their choice of victim.
