The level of real world badness required for high level actors to take note and change their choices is so high that transphobia will never reach it. Even horrible racism or sex pestery barely and rarely reach those levels required

I just dont think its just for the money, the idea their actions are separate from real world politics is the whole point. They just want to do a cool project and tell themselves its okay and that insulation is the whole point and the whole media nurtures that very bubble
