"The key to Wolfblood's success is the series placing character dynamics at the forefront. Together, the packs combat danger while also maneuvering through platonic adoration, unrequited crushes, first loves, and true love."

Nice to know the pack are still finding new audiences!

THREAD.

3 years ago, with no warning, a brilliant orange farm cat wandered over from the draughty barn where he had been living, in rural Cornwall, and decided he wanted to live with us instead.

We decided to call him Jim.

This is the first photo I took of him, on that night: December 1st, 2022.

it’s stuff like this makes me feel untethered to reality; this girl was just flying home for Thanksgiving to surprise her parents

now she’s been kidnapped by the government and disappeared and… things are just rolling on like normal

As you’re preparing for your Thanksgiving meal, remember the skilled work it took to get that food to your grocery store.

Tell us your favorite Thanksgiving dish, and we can share some of what we know about the work behind the ingredients.

I think plenty of it speaks to the state of the media, but an obvious one is that Vox and Vanity Fair barely investigated her and that she managed to commit an unforgivable journalistic crime before getting a book deal and walking into another prestige job, while plenty of others are being laid off
you know, what if they aren't actually a commentary on journalism or the state of media. what if these people are just extremely weird

the pink of her nose reminds me of the only time I ever went to the Macy’s Day Parade, when I lived in New York

it was so, so, so fucking cold, so painfully cold, I left for the nearby office building I was working at

where I sat in the dark and wrote my first spec script

now if only we could get judges to do this for all cops
“Judge Ellis noted that there were often inconsistencies between what appeared on tape from the officers’ body-worn cameras and what ended up in the written record, resulting in her deeming the reports unreliable.”

teenaged girl compliments hit different 🤌🏼💋
One day when I was on the corner waiting for my son’s preschool bus to drop him off, a teenage girl walking home (the high school and the preschool got out at the same time) waved at me and said “I love your ENTIRE look EVERY DAY!”
What is the best compliment you ever received? Putting aside whether or not you believed it.

Today, after months of requests, I toured the Broadview ICE Processing Facility. I want to share what I saw.

The facility has no food vendor, no medical care, and detainees have to use toilets in the middle of shared cells. These are in no way suitable conditions to be holding anyone — period.

Lots of people sharing this clip because it's funny and cathartic but I also genuinely believe it's important.

We have to win the narrative battle between "I live in a corrupt society and that's just how it is" and "I live in a corrupt society and we are going to defeat and humiliate these ghouls."
Good morning to Brazilian reporter Manuela Borges, who’s been waiting eleven years for this petty moment. ❤️ 🇧🇷
