Root + Branch's fresh hop w/Citra and Comet was my favorite but everything was great as always. not too crowded, the few lines moved quickly, and we were more than sated by 2 PM. the addition of a coffee truck and record shop was nice too - they know their audience

she's not my cup of tea, not a pop fan, but seems like a lot happened between "and I wouldn’t marry me either / a pathological people-pleaser" to "every single hot take is cold as ice" (a song about mean internet comments inexplicably set to tinkly piano like a tribute to Princess Diana)

tbf I think there's ground to consider why her lyrics have gotten so much worse over time - she was never America's greatest poet but she had talent. this is middle-school level stuff from a woman coming on middle age. being a billionaire, the vapidity of fame, greed, whatever - it's odd!

this isn't correct. federal contractors performing essential functions are paid. in addition, these aren't layoffs, these are furloughs, and all federal employees will be repaid at the end of the shutdown

got Moderna this year + flu shot and thought I was out of the woods, but exactly 12 hours later it was like getting hit by a truck. chills, fever, couldn't get out of bed. would schedule it for a Friday morning just in case.
