Agreed. As a default, the police should be a public-facing institution, made up of members known to the community. There should be some protections, but not to the point of erasing all accountability.

All of the talk of "doxing ICE agents" should be a non-premise because law enforcement agents working for the government shouldn't have anonymity to begin with. "Steve Johnson from Duluth is a cop" should be a matter of public record. You're a government employee not fucking Banksy

Was just at a neighborhood school at dismissal. Hundreds of people with whistles surrounding the school and stationed down every block making sure ICE doesn’t snatch anyone. The same is happening at all the schools around here. I love my neighborhood and I love Chicago.
