When i lived in IA, it was a purple state. In the last 20 years, IA took a hard right turn and its politics are indistinguishable from Alabama's, complete with abortion ban and regressive taxes. Now they have horrible brain drain and credulously wonder what caused it.

When i lived in IA, it was a purple state. In the last 20 years, IA took a hard right turn and its politics are indistinguishable from Alabama's, complete with abortion ban and regressive taxes. Now they have horrible brain drain and credulously wonder what caused it.

Enjoying a few days off and started a rewatch of Lord of the Rings, which I haven't seen since well before the Hobbit movies.
Glad to see they still rock. Made it through extended edition of Fellowship last night. Appreciating all over again how Elijah and Sean anchor the whole thing.
