This is what The Wind in the Willows originally looked like. If we can force our minds to disassociate the name with talking moles and what-not and just look at this eerie illustration of Pan, you have to wonder what made people read it, and what they thought when they found out what it was about

Ok listen. Twice this month I've deleted loads of stuff that was a real blow not to have on my (android) phone, gigabytes and gigabytes, and every time it mysteriously fills up a couple of days later, which I find out when WhatsApp stops being able to work

What is it? What's filling up the space?

I'm old.

If you're not, listen to this.

Get a guitar or some drums, or a trumpet. Pick up a brush, a pencil, some clay or a welder.

Just make shit. It doesn't have to be good (eventually it will be) just make music, art or write or whatever.

It's literally never been more important.

People are calling this “lazy” which I think is kind of missing what’s going on here. Increasingly convinced that the comparable technology, in how it interacts with the human nervous system, is the slot machine.

This is an absolutely horrendous (+NSFW) read but a very funny one, and a good primer for all the non-'sickos' (his words!) who keep hearing about RFK Jr and Lizzas and Nuzzis and feeling confused.

I already wasn't entirely on board with prison as a thing, but now I'm radicalised in favour of having cats and dogs in prisons. I can't think of a quicker way to reform a character than give them a kitten. I bet you ANYTHING crimes committed in jail would plummet immediately if everyone had a pet
"I had not touched a cat in 15 years when an orange kitten wandered over to sit with me in the grass one day. I was left without adequate words to describe that experience. It reminded me that I am alive."

Blister is still sealed, so they're probably the most valuable minis I own. Going to have to open it though!

I've now seen 2 films where a character is shown watching a CRT TV which is itself stacked on top of another CRT TV. I wonder why that was? What was the economy surrounding tellies in America that made it easier to just put the new one on top of the old one than get rid of the broken one

Doctor Who doesn't need to be consistent. It's best to think of it as a TV roguelike. Every run is totally different. Very little hard continuity between adventures. Lead character acquires experience and unlocks new skins. Also, it's fucking shite.
