I just hope I live to see the day when pitchers are developed differently. At the risk of being OK Boomered, teams used to have 4-5 starters who each threw 200+ innings a year, got hitters out without throwing 100+mph, didn’t have pitch counts/innings limits, and didn’t shred their elbows.

If you go through the top 30 prospects list, just about every position player has an impressive OBP and several of them have good speed. Of course then someone has to drive them in, but it’s a good approach.
