This is awesome! Trees make for excellent subjects.

Be sure to read the astoundingly good alt text, too!
THREAD. A collection of photographs of excellent trees I have met on walks.

You will find the captions to each photo in the alt text.

Parisot (the Director) tells a story about how Tim Allen just started crying after a scene one day

"I don't like these feelings i'm having." Says Tim. "I'm going back to my trailor" and walks off.

There's silence for a second.

"Oh my god." Says Rickman. "I think Tim just experienced acting."
Galaxy Quest - a perfect movie, just a wonderful love letter to actors, sci-fi, Star Trek in particular, and to fandom - really deserves a proper physical release with decent extras. Think Weaver's right that releasing a R-rated cut would be fun, too.
Sigourney Weaver Says She Wishes DreamWorks Released A Director’s Cut Of ‘Galaxy Quest,’ Reminisces On Sequel That Never Came To Pass
Sigourney Weaver reflected on cult classic Galaxy Quest and how she wishes the sci-fi satire had released an R-rated director's cut.

Another beautiful Shchedryk performance amidst ruins.

It was set in what used to be a DTEK thermal power plant — now destroyed by russia.

The contrast between russia’s destructive nature and the Ukrainian will to create beauty even in the darkest times is palpable.

Let's see if complaining here helps at all. Hey, @pacificgaselectric.bsky.social - your new account setup is entirely inaccessible to me and has been since you changed it. Calling your help center didn't do me any good. I need someone actually technical to chat with in your org. 1/

72 years old???? Groan.

Now retired, he works as a docent in the Charles Schulz Museum. That's pretty cool.
We caught up with one of the kids who sang on 'A Charlie Brown Christmas.' He's 72 now
Dave Willat was just 11 years old when he showed up for what he thought would be a routine church choir practice in 1965. He and his fellow singers ended up making history.

Really was a crowning technological achievement that we made it so basically anyone could record high quality video and share it with the world and then instantly we destroyed it with a bunch of fake shit

as the hosts hint that they would like to be invited to watch the movie at the white house, one asks "is there a movie theater in the white house?"

no, dumbass, there is not. It was in the east wing.

This is hardly a new observation (and, alas, none of this is at all surprising at this point), but the man needs to just stfu.

The cultural impact of Rob Reiner cannot be understated. Legend isn't big enough a word. It goes to 11. You can't handle the truth. As you wish. I'll have what she's having. I'm your number one fan. You guys wanna see a dead body? The very idea of a bucket list. The West Wing.

All from his movies.
