Cocktail Ops
Based on the number of boarded up windows, I think this may actually be a newer photo than the Google Street View ones.

My related niche peeve is the tempo used for the national anthem when played before various events. It seems to vary from sprightly (good!) to funeral dirge (very bad), with a strong tendency to the latter, alas.

So many of these are clever or hilarious, but this one seems like Mother Nature's editorial comment on the state of the world somehow

Cue up the REM tune

Zero surprise there. Egg nog is just wannabe french vanilla ice cream in liquid form, so you've essentially got a root beer float with less need for a spoon.

The cellular and atomic level dances required for all of that is remarkable! And best not considered too closely. Enjoy the sandwich!

Looks a bit different now - but still there!

+1 to this - a great and very fun puzzle!

I don't believe in England. It's just a @conspiracyofcarto.bsky.social

Yeah - just an outstanding human. Need more of those, especially in the public sphere.

Oh, one more thing - *if* there's someone technical I can talk to, I have logs and even packet traces that show this bizarro behavior. Happy to share with someone with a clue!

Very very weird. So, @pacificgaselectric.bsky.social - can you maybe help get this to someone that can help me? Going through the call center has been useless so far. help! 5/5

This is incredibly frustrating. Can I sign up with a different email address (like a throwaway gmail one) and then switch it? I'd like to use my actual email as the location you send me information. I'll note that you are doing so already and it's _only the signup mail that does this_. 4/

Here's where I need someone technical. Their server connects and issues EHLO. So far, so good. But instead of offering mail, it then just QUITs. That's bizarre and something I've never seen before. So, you don't send me mail and I never get signed up. 3/

Here's the problem - in the sign up flow, you ask for an email address. I provide it and then you claim to send me mail. The thing is...you don't. No, it's not in spam. I run my own server and I can see that you are using salesforce as a vendor for your mail. 2/

Given the potency of that stuff that's somehow both a hilariously small amount and a giant spill at the same time. Yikes!

Some quality dain bramage gonna come out of that beating.

Given proximity to the Valley this is hardly surprising. Still disappointing though.
