Was in a depressive episode and making art relating to Urara seems to help my mental. Not sure why or why I’m obsessed with this horse, but even if she isn’t still around, I’m glad the little time in finding her and learning about her has helped me

Oh that turned out so cool! One day I’ll mess with crocheting more, I gotta get my tensions down better. In the meantime I’ll admire

I’m so happy with how this thing turned out, now I have a space for my smaller Urara trinkets If and when I’m able to attain them.

Feel free to use this as inspiration to make your own or something like this for whatever you want.

Do it! It’s lots of fun :D

Really pleased with how it turned out, now I can add more to my Urara shelf when I’m able :D

Added the fabric pad for pins and a bow to match how they look in the game and bam! Done!
datgreenmonstah.bsky.social
Now I just need to seal it and then add the little fabric spot on the stem for pins and a ribbon and it’s done!

There was a typhoon that hit western Alaska and has hit a lot of rural and indigenous communities to where whole houses were floated away. There’s a disaster relief fund available to help those that were affected by it where you can share and or donate

If you need explaining it’s a nice way of calling someone stupid

As a southerner I don’t think the person who made this understands what “Bless your heart” means, that or they do and they’re being subtle

Either way I had a chuckle seeing this

Aside from a few imperfections on the paper mache I’m patching up, it’s ready to paint and seal!

Np! There’s also enamel sprays you can get too to seal them to make them waterproof as well ontop of the mod podge. I love utilizing all the things

I even made these heads and faux mount and even this mask from it(the mask sounds almost plastic when it closes its mouth it’s so interesting)

It makes stuff really sturdy depending on what you use. Like the all purpose wheat flour and warm water mix really makes the cardboard solid almost like wood again. I’ve been wanting to try the Elmer’s glue and water or even the wheat and Elmer’s water combo to see how they turn out.

Do it! There’s so many cool projects you can use it for, I even saw a guy on tiktok who made a stool he could sit on and had it sealed so it was waterproof. It’s so versatile and fun

Carrot shelf now dries, I’ll get the backside in a bit or tomorrow and hopefully have it painted and sealed
datgreenmonstah.bsky.social
Carrot shelf is now ready for paper mache! I even added little hooks for charms. Gonna make the stem a spot for pins to go in

When you can’t afford much for materials on shelving, just make it
datgreenmonstah.bsky.social
Kept seeing these fun ideas for making cardboard/paper mache shelves(which kind you are very sturdy) so I felt, why not make a cute carrot one to add to my Urara shelf in the shape of the carrots 🥕

In the middle of a dozen other projects, I've been working on a life-sized, 3D-printed vaquita porpoise for @kaseysnow.bsky.social to show off at #TwitchCon 🐬

🤞🏽 Cross your fingers I have enough time to paint it properly before I fly out on Wednesday 🤞🏽
Photo of me holding a life-sized vaquita porpoise 3D print in my arms. It's still unpainted, so the bright white-colored plastic filament makes it look almost like a tiny, 1-meter-long beluga

Ha after I made this comment yesterday today we got thunder, not as dramatic as the plains, but I appreciate it
