If one truly wants to see how far down the road of totalitarianism we have already gone, just scroll the Dep't of Homeland Security's Facebook page. It is the most Orwellian stuff I have ever seen, never thought I would see in America.

CNN uncovered an audio of RFK Jr comparing Trump to Hitler and saying his supporters are “Nazis” and “cowards”.

This is what makes fascism so dangerous… many people will happily join their ranks if it means they can grasp a tiny bit of power.

We all know they’re fascists & now they’re admitting it
Doubt he has the skills to do that heist, but by next week I expect him to add it to his CV.

“We found over 35 cases in which the judges have specifically said what the government is providing…false information. It might be intentionally false information, including false sworn declarations time and again," says Ryan Goodman, law professor at New York University.
It was 1980. We were helping friends paint the outside of their house. They were UT grads but in gratitude for our helped, they lugged their CRT tv outside. We had Larry Munson on the radio. That’s how we saw this m.youtube.com/watch?v=vOhW...

ICE just kidnapped my friend’s neighbor. They live the next town over. She’s shaken up but recorded the incident from a safe distance.

She couldn’t intervene because no one else was outside and it’s not safe as a Black woman to do so alone. Scary times, man.

The main achievement of the tech industry has been increasing the flow of money from people who make or do things to people who already have more money than they could spend in a hundred lifetimes
“Average musician makes $12 a month on Spotify. The fact that they are not even able to sell a record and it’s taken from them by rich motherfuckers on streaming platforms who get paid royally by record labels,Ticketmaster, merch companies. They’re all fucking getting paid, except for the musician.”

With NYTimes waxing eloquent about the complexities of rednecks, we need a good thread of how “complex“ leftists are. The stereotypes are just as misleading. For example, all my friends (center left to socialists) love college football w a passion the RW thinks they own.

THERE IS LITERALLY NO REASON TO FIRE LIVE ARTILLERY SHELLS OVER AN AMERICAN HIGHWAY.

TOTALLY STUPID, RECKLESS, AND BIZARRE ACTIONS JUST TO MAKE JD VANCE FEEL IMPORTANT.

🚨NEW: After we revealed Russ Vought's "put them in trauma" video, I spent the next year reporting on him, his influence, and his vision for America.

Yes, I got *new* recordings & videos of Vought.

Here is the story.

Russell Vought is using the White House budget office to lay waste to the federal bureaucracy—firing workers, decimating agencies, and testing the rule of law.

On Friday, Trump asked SCOTUS to let him invade Chicago, relying on declarations already deemed unreliable, to disprove Chicago's claim it was abt animus.
On Saturday, he posted AI slop showing him dropping shit on America.
On Sunday, he bombed SoCal.
👇🧵summary of Marco Rubio’s cowardly deal with Bukele.

I’d add that it also undercuts their claims of how MS13 is their key target in these abominable raids. If that were true, wouldn’t they prioritize Intel on where to find MS13?
So US law enforcement turned 9 members of the MS13 gang & got them to cooperate with the US government. The information these men had included details on deals the MS13 gang made with El Salvador President Bukele.

There's no point in good faith agreements with the United States any longer.

That's the Trump legacy and the bargain that Rubio accepted, because he's a coward.

One other thought on this: the Bukele visit (and these events) were months ago and have faded from headlines but this was step 1 of a lawless campaign that connects to the boat strikes. Rubio apparently the driving force behind taking the GWOT playbook to Latin America.

Oh it’s not appropriate for your program to air the president wearing a crown and shitting on American citizens?

You’ll talk about it in euphemisms? Maybe call it the “crown video” and ignore the shitting part? Because that’s appropriate?

Tell me, was it appropriate for the president to do it?
Consistently, it’s the anti-maga side that tries de-escalate or even to render aid. It’s telling & pathetic that his buddies never try to help him (never mind stop him from worse trouble). If they even knew how to care for each other, they might be reachable. They’ll never understand compassion.

I'd never vote for Rand Paul, but on this issue he's absolutely correct. This is a clear and profound distinction. No declaration of war. No evidence of crime. What Trump & our military is doing is mass murder. It's no different than any mass-shooting of innocents – just with bigger (military) guns.
Rand Paul: "When you kill someone, if you're not in a declared war, you really need to know someone's name at least. You have to accuse them of something. You have to present evidence. So all of these people have been blown up without any evidence of a crime."
Old enough to remember when Rubio put forward his Christian faith as his driving force in public life. It would be telling if Pope Bob were to arrange to meet with Rubio. Rubio is so obviously a hollow man who *knows* he’s sold his soul. It’s amazing to me how this admin is a poetic symbology class.
