This Georgia flip is in a district that the GOP drew to drown Democratic voters in Athens into a neighboring red county, Oconee.

But tonight, Dems in Athens were out in FULL FORCE to swamp that gerrymander.

RESULTS: Democrat Tim Keller has won reelection as mayor of Albuquerque.

He defeats a former Republican sheriff, who took issue with Keller's executive order that limited collaboration with ICE.

And that's not all: Liberal faction seizes majority a city council.

The previous Republican mayor of Miami won his election with 78% of the ballot in 2021 🧐
CONFIRMED: Eileen Higgins, a Democrat, will be the new mayor of Miami.

She'll be the city's first Democratic mayor since the 1990s. She flipped the office from Republicans, and does so easily. She leads the DeSantis-endorsed Emilio González 59/41 right now with most ballots counted.

i’m paper and pencil on maybe 90% of stuff and people ask me hither and yon about how my classes are so engaged and how i get so much active learning and dude just eliminate the consumption machines. computers and phones are for consumption. production comes from the human mind.
You know what works:

Small class sizes
Teachers with support from admins
Engaged, rested, properly fed students not freaking out about EVERYTHING

You know what doesn't:
The race for the latest technology. Yes, even that one.
Not speaking about anyone in particular here.

Generalizing.

But:

IM SO FUCKING TIRED OF HEARING “HOW TO FIX EDUCATION” FROM PEOPLE WHO HAVE NO IDEA WHAT GOES ON IN A CLASSROOM.

Maybe, MAYBE, my fellow Cubans are realizing that we've been used for decades by the GOP as "brownwashing" and have gotten nothing out of it. The Revolution is over, we're in this country now, and to white racists "Cuban" is just another word for "sp*c".

I do thank that what’s kept the drone industry from being more publicly insane is that everyone in it understands regulators can and will crush them like bugs if they get too uppity.

This has NOT been the case for AI companies - they don’t fear regulators at all - and we are reaping the results
Also, you and other reasonable drone professionals/experts don't spend every waking moment pretending that drones will do things that are impossible and/or really terrible ideas.

You all aren't constantly flooding the zone with bullshit and then feigning horror when people call it bullshit.
