A reminder that the ACT party has been gunning for the broadcasting standards authority so that they can get away with this racist propaganda writ large.
If the Herald wants to be Fox News or a News Ltd tabloid that’s their board’s choice but there are still standards. Disagreement with policies and political positions is fine but blaming violence on people with explicitly nonviolent kaupapa who made public statements condemning the violence is sick.
