Hi I'm Ferne Milton, Cobblesprite. I'm one half of CobblePath Games and its lead designer.

My main purview is Game Design, but I also write and do art and layout.

CobblePath Games has released a few games, available primarily on our Itch store.

I think it's bordering too close to being useful buuut.

Buy an abandoned theme park and renovate it to be safe but still abandoned and non functioning.

Id like to run Larps there but just having it be like.. a thing people can vosit would be cool.

lets say a wizard has cursed you with a lot of money. you are going to become permanently brain damaged simply by being in possession of so much money. the only way out of it is to spend a lot of money on something ridiculous and not at all useful

what would you buy to break the curse?

On sentry duty for possible emergency calls while also doing laundry so you get my TTRPG ramblings for a moment

So one of the concepts which I've been enamored with in game mechanics/resolution lately is "let it ride". It first clicked for me in Vaesen, of all places. Lemme talk about it.

Yuuuuup

Tactical voting is frankly a deeply undemocratic concept.

I get why people do it and generally I think it's a failure of our systems than on people.

But the people who demand it are unthinking losers.
cobblesprite.bsky.social
This line always comes from the people who fervently believe that centrist parties deserve all left leaning votes just defacto as some sort of grown-up sensible magic or some bullshit.

It's just a whiny little defensive bark.
cobblesprite.bsky.social
Yeah agreed 100%

(I do like Zack tbh, he seems solid and like a dude with principles he's happy to actually vocalise and stick to which is.. NOVEL. But I'm also.. y'know, wary. But so far I'm impressed and actually kinda hopeful for once!)
cobblesprite.bsky.social
From what I've seen now they have Zack they are at *the very least* openly saying Trans people deserve like.. to be members of society and are being pretty definitive about it.

I think with the new leadership they are solidly our best party at the moment by a significant margin tbh.

Like I still cannot get over the xbox one's selling point being " all our games will be on pc, and if you get them on one, you'll get them on the other"

What... whats the fucking point of the xbox one then!?! Why does it exist? It costs more than an average gaming pc and offers nothing extra.
cobblesprite.bsky.social
It's funny cos while I do understand that most games do not have a reason to be exclusives beyond market stuff, I do still tend to consider exclusives to be a positive mark for a console.

Not because exclusives = good, but because exclusives *now* suggest the console has a purpose beyond "shit pc"

I watched him for a few months as a news source at one point until it became painfully clear that he's a hardcore ideological centrist.

Ie: He genuibely believes that whatever the compromise opinion is is morally correct.

Fucker would believe the sky is green if a right winger said it was yellow.

That New York Times story lots of people are sharing today about Farage's ties to US anti-abortion groups was first reported by @mc00.bsky.social on Byline Times a year ago bylinetimes.com/2024/11/29/n...

It is currently Black History Month in the United Kingdom. Britain’s past as an empire and slave trader meant that many people of colour came to Brighton, but the earliest we know of were free professionals who made lives for themselves as important members of Brighton Society.

I wish to share with you the scene that greeted me getting home today (neither of these two are supposed to be here)
A photo of a hay stack in a barn with a very small goat looking at a big smooshed down decadently in the hay.

The horrifying thing is that yes.. yes it absolutely is xD

Gawd I need to write it all down!

I look forward to having to decide and come up with legendary figments on the spot and fail to constantly break down laughing again!

Bwehehehee we had so many great Buorthi npcs at this one!

Steve Irwen energy Buorthi CHUM DYNAMITE

BIG BOY SNUFFLELUNGUS the souvenir merchant

And RATTLESNICK a spymaster who had a unique buorthi phys rep with two eyepatches and sexy scars xD

It would be great to have you there <3

Yeah, there's so little you can do beyond roll with it.

We do fortunately seem to have just.. the best player base so they were extremely understanding when they were waiting for things or when things were a little scrappy at our front desk!

A DISCWORLD PRIMER*

*or, why should I read this thing that everyone keeps going on about?

Come on in, sit down, pull up a chair. If you have followup questions, feel free to ask me or @ankhmorporkcity.watch, we're always happy to help.

(1/a lot, idk, we'll figure this out as we go)

On the centenary of Thatcher's birth, there have been predictable calls for a memorial to her memory. But Britain's 2300 food banks serve that purpose already.
cobblesprite.bsky.social
Main struggles were just that we are still learning how we work as a ref team.

Also we were 2 refs down due to covid (they are fine fortunately but obviously for everyones safety they missed the event.)
cobblesprite.bsky.social
Super crazy well thanks!

Players had a blast, dove right in and worked together wonderfully and we got some lovely feedback and some very lovely new additions to the player base!

Got some really fun stuff we can build on too which is always great!

I finally got home and could lie down in an actual bed!!

zack polanski is so good and i genuinely think if the left rallies around this guy and the green party in the UK, they can easily beat back the hysteria of the reform party
