At this rate I'm going to keep using it long enough for them to realise that I'm probably their most talented developer now and then tell them they can remove my seat as I don't need it.
Even for boilerplate it's just too slow and I'm not some fancy VIM user. I've just mastered using multi-cursor navigation and some regex replacing in Visual Studio (not code). And when something has a lot of boilerplate I just encapsulate the boilerplate to make it reusable.
One time it confabuled that an EFCore query I made had an N+1 query problem despite there being no loop and explicitly using `.AsSingleQuery()` because they query execution plans looked better in comparison to the three split queries.
I've been trying to use GitHub Copilot (ChatGpt 4.1) because my new job gave it to me and I don't want them to think of me as a luddite. There have been maybe two or three instances where it's been of any help at all and otherwise it's frustrating, stupid and so fucking slow.
Visual Studio too, shit fucking sucks
@tormentnexus how do I deactivate the torment nexus?

This may seem cute but if you do this too much the cyclists may become reliant on cars feeding them, disrupting the delicate roadway ecosystem

Politicians and rich people only condemn violence as "political" when it kills someone rich and famous.

When trans people are targeted for violence by the state or by right wing influencers, when immigrants are racially profiles and put in camps, when protestors are brutalized, that's just normal.
I guess that explains why Trump said that he never draws or whatever. I thought that sounded weird because I thought it'd be like two crude boobs at the end of the letter. Not whatever the fuck this is.
Accidentally on purpose?
Rent's so high you have to live in a laptop instead of an ATX case.
A part of me shrivelled up and died upon reading this.
I don't think spite is accurate here, because that would mean that there's some degree of cynicism. But I think that they truly believe it's valuable content so they don't need spite to motivate them to watch it.
I think it's that they don't believe it's slop. They probably have internalised the hype that AI is nearing AGI (it categorically is not) and thus can create something of value.
I just want to say that one of my girlfriends only just realised that SpongeBob is supposed to be a sea sponge.

That's not how it works, that's not how any of this works.

fun fact: the reason that hormone therapy can successfully change the body to the degree it can is because of biology.

"biological" doesn't actually mean anything here other than "we want our bigotry to sound scientifically justified".
KCRA: California has officially started using "biological girl" and "biological boy" to refer to cis and trans girls,in order to create a separate competition just for cis girls.

They're scared of Trump, even though Maine legally beat his threats easily.

Wouldn't the second one be spelt more like sequel?
She campaigned for a segregationist when she was in college. So I think that's just her true colours.
The free market's gonna have to innovate real hard to build manufacturing facilities at scale without access to the components required to build manufacturing facilities at scale.

I thought they were already trying to claim trans people were burning down the Tesla dealerships.

The Massachusetts governor, the city, and the university needs to drop everything to locate and free this girl and make sure this doesn't happen again.

This is DEFCON-1. If they do this to someone who wrote an op-ed in a college newspaper, they will do this to anyone they don't like.
Video of the international student at Tufts being arrested by "federal authorities" in Massachusetts has been released and it's terrifying.

They're not even uniformed officers. Just secret police thugs in hoodies and masks.
