This, by the way, is why I generally don't go in for the casual sibling-terms which are so common in trans femme spaces.

I was someone's sister. I am someone's sister. He never knew, and I'm still sad about it, so that's just for him.

@biochemandowls.bsky.social has shared so much of herself with me over the past year, and I count myself so lucky to be able to call her my niece.

The hours I spent with her on my vacation were some of the easiest I had, and I am so, so proud of her, and I love her so so much.

She just asked if I still had my beard and told me to shave it off.

It's all been downhill since then, but in a thrilling "Let's go exploring!" kind of way 💜

Wouldn't be who I am today without her.

I will admit my wife and I will occasionally go 'Oh wow, did you see that woman in the <outfit summary>? Wasn't she gorgeous?' to each other when we notice someone particularly lovely as we're out and about

But that still feels different from what I remember guys doing 🫤
