I understand that there are a lot of people out there who think they have good intentions and love to take their ideological opponents in good faith because it makes them seem fair and reasonable and I truly cannot overstate how dangerous this is to trans people and how much they should stop

Got a text out of the blue from an old bar friend I haven't spoken to in quite a while, addressed to my deadname, checking in because he hadn't seen me at the library his last few visits.
Told him I might've been there, just a bit unrecognizable, along with a picture, and 'I go by <name> now' 🤣

Got good sleep, took a good 60ish minute walk with one of my nieces, made a bunch of bracelets for friends, and now (fingers crossed) a quiet night at home.
