You should be concerned about the rate of authors leaving publishing. Especially from marginalized communities. This year I have seen so many authors just pack it up and go. And it's only getting worse.

Wednesday has been watching the Netflix CARMEN SANDEIGO, and while it is a beautiful show with some great voice acting, I cannot help but feel like we lost something.

Once upon a time, before GALAXY: THE PRETTIEST STAR was even published, HBO was eying Galaxy for a TV show. Nothing ever came of it, but it's fun to imagine what could have happened.
