I think assuming literally any of these people will sit in a prison cell is honestly out of reach.

The point was to extract concessions, nothing was gained. If your end goal is just lowering Trump's approval rating and not getting things out of Republicans we're speaking two different languages. Donald Trump is electorally a lame duck, he'll either not run or run again in a sham election.
seems like the shutdown really hurt his approvals and did what we needed it to do. ending it too focus on other things was the right choice.
