About 18 years ago, back when I actually did illustration work, I was drawing and writing 'Prof. Beasly's Beastly Beastiary' as a kid's book pitch. There's been a billion titles like this since then, but maybe one day I'll get back into it (did all this on an old Intuos + Photoshop).

I swear my car receives more software updates than my graphics card. I’ve had three patches alone this month.
Absolutely. Look, you’ll never win over the crazy religious side of the Republican base, but I agree that Dem candidates with a strong business and worker’s rights background can absolutely make inroads. Promising market and trade stability can go a long way in winning over unsure AG voters.
Absolutely. I honestly believe one of the strongest ways to fight back against this admin is to make regional congressmen and senators scared. Upset constituents still have a ton of voting power as we’ve seen with GOP reps reading the room regarding recent polling on ACA and rural hospital cuts.
Unfortunately you can’t fix those people and, I imagine, even with the administration doing this these individuals still won’t be happy.

What this does do is come off as embarrassing to moderate Republicans and independents. Enough to either *not* vote in the next election or switch to Democrats.
It’s going to be an interesting test case to see if an entire administration can govern for four years based entirely on vibes and (literal) shitposting. Honestly nothing else. Nothing to improve the economy, quality of life or national safety. Entirely focused on dicking around on twitter.

Something I love about Hades is how generally *friendly* and courteous most everyone is. Even before a fight you have a pleasant conversation and acknowledgement everyone is just doing their job. And then, off hours, these same enemies hang out with you at a bar. It really is charming.
You put out quality posts and it’s well-deserved.
Rich men with ideas and no talent are what brought us brilliant pieces of art like Champagne & Bullets (aka. GetEven). Now it only brings us AI slop.
Going to become a professional baseball player so my team's stadium is forced to play '2468' by Horsegirl every time I'm up to bat.
We're going to get the 'Disney Content Warning' approach before all the various Walking Tall adaptations.
Damn, twitter must've really goofed because I'm noticing a few of the last big users there *finally* making use of their Bluesky accounts.
Hell, I live in the 'burbs and every conversation here regarding a parade amounts to, 'Shit, we can't go down Center Road today because they're doing a dumb parade for an hour.'

The vast majority of parades are only spoken about in terms of how inconvenient they make running errands.
Yeah, I guess as I've gotten older I'm less keen on the, 'Ha ha told you!' aspect of when people vote against their own interests. I've found, 'Well, now you know and next time hopefully you'll vote differently' tends to work a bit better because, as you said, it's about educating the audience.
I'm the easiest person to get a Secret Santa gift for because I don't shut up about things I absolutely love.
Like, I can't even get mad or upset when reading these things because I just keep going back to, 'Oh, he's at the part where producers are floating "how does [blank] actually work? No regular joe knows!" before pivoting to, "This is what *the other side* wants you to think!"
Yeah, after reading the transcripts from an ex-Fox News producer's podcast revealing the behind-the-scenes of how they approach a broad story, one can absolutely pinpoint which narrative phase their talents are in at any particular moment. It was super fascinating/terrifying to learn about.
To be fair, like LaMelo Ball in the 6 7 song, we also featured NBA stars like Shaq in our goofball music growing up. Our’s was cooler.

Nieces have been sending me 6 7 memes and I’ve responded with shitpost memes from my youth. They’re not impressed with what I grew up with.
That one page from this week's issue. Goddamn, the scope of size was *amazing*.
The amount of tightrope walking I had to do in explaining to my friends why this Nendoroid is so wild *without* spoiling the entire plot of Mouthwashing.
Getting my cousin's original Monster Manual as a 7 year-old really ruined me. Few things would be as awesome as it was for a sheltered suburban kid.
2000's TIME magazine creative department was never told, 'No, that is too much Photoshop for a cover.'
I've noticed that Warhammer keeps showing up in Michael Cusack shows. His Hulu series, Koala Man, had someone painting Eldar in the pilot.
