About 18 years ago, back when I actually did illustration work, I was drawing and writing 'Prof. Beasly's Beastly Beastiary' as a kid's book pitch. There's been a billion titles like this since then, but maybe one day I'll get back into it (did all this on an old Intuos + Photoshop).

Always wanted to be an animator since I was 5. Went to an animation school and realized I hated it. Had crisis and instead went for print design.

What’s sad is that it would be so easy for Trump to get the universal adoration he fixates on. If Trump was to focus on traditional socialist concerns of affordable housing, healthcare, childcare, etc. he would receive praise from voters of both parties (also if the ICE ordeal raids never started).

The makeup department has absolutely upped their game with season 3 of Very Important People. I feel like every season has one or two 'normal' characters, but this time around every guest looks batshit.

I don’t care how silly it is or the whole ‘don’t think, just consume’ concept of branded crossovers are, I’m eager for the big (and canon!) Superman vs. Homelander fight because you just know they’ll righteously embarrass the shit out of Vought’s golden boy.

The head sculpt on these things are massive. Something about the physical weight of a prop makes even something static feel way more lifelike than simple CGI.

For anyone wondering, some possible dog names have survived from cuneiform sources.
On tiny dog figurines found buried under a palace in Nineveh, Iraq are inscriptions that seem to be names.
dan rigiššu “loud is his bark”

Something I feel not enough people outside of comics are aware of is the fact about 10 years ago Marvel successfully rebooted the concept of the Hulk into a body-horror masterpiece. Multiple writers have explored the idea of the Hulk simply being the latest avatar of man’s inherent fear of monsters.

The little Huntress Wizard origin segments at the start of Fionna & Cake episodes are phenomenal. Likewise, I know some people aren’t fans of the slice of life aspects this season, but I honestly love all the weird little townies and the exploration of Fionna being a well-meaning train wreck.

The Warhammer community is fascinating because you will have this small subset of chuds who are all 'HE-MAN WOMAN HATERS CLUB NO WOKE STUFF HERE' but if you actually enter any actual discussion about 40k you're only ever two comments away from someone posting Ork memes or discussing Tau/Eldar butts.
