I painted up the new Captain Titus. After reading about his adventures in the War for Novamangor, I just had to prioritize him! And luckily, he's a surprisingly fun mini to paint.

I took a look at the story behind the new 500 Worlds campaign, a de facto sequel to Guy Haley's Dark Imperium novels. This time it stars Captain Titus!

IMHO, both Jeffries and Schumer have been effective minority leaders. (Schumer has already proved himself in the majority.) If your definition of effective leader is someone who channels your justified & righteous anger, you're going to have to wait (again, my opinion) for the Democratic primary.

On the Venezuela thing. Americans, historically, greatly prefer to have a plausible altruistic (or self-defense) cover story for our military actions. Saying the "fork over the oil" normally quiet part so extremely loud does not appeal to that.

Connie discusses the economics of the board game industry, and what Trump, Elon, and DOGE has wrought on good government.
Check out this article! It talks about my feelings on the Trump administration (I don't hold back), and why I decided to take the plunge to full-time design & dev work, even in light of tariffs & the current economy.
Wyrmspan and Apiary designer Connie Vogelmann has taken the plunge into full-time board game design following the huge success of her first two creations - and the destruction she says is being caused by Donald Trump in her former career as a grants law attorney:

Yeah I mean this is all you really can say. It’s all grotesque and insane but the Trump GOP is getting to the point where they CAN’T win anything. Even if they get what they want it makes things worse for them! We’re all hostages to it but nevertheless. They’re kind of screwed!
Trump and the GOP aren't getting more popular, they have a habit of fucking up any "win" they get, and they're increasingly just idiots relying on brute forcing their ways through problems. And while some elected Democrats may be yielding, Democratic voters are not. This is a marathon, not a sprint.

Schumer is quite good at politics, even if saying that sends this site into a frothing rage.
Schumer responded on the Senate floor today:“For this administration to go all the way to the Supreme Court just to get out of having to pay SNAP benefits for hungry kids is pathological levels of vindictiveness. This crisis is in the administration’s hands. It’s all them, not anyone else.” C-SPAN

There’s a lot of people who claim to be really into politics but who are actually really into being righteously angry, and they’re pretty shitty sources of information. Anger is addictive and makes you stupid, try to limit it.

I hope you never find yourself in a situation where you or your loved ones are seriously injured and getting the run around from a liability carrier.

It’s not simply important to denounce political violence because it looks bad not to. It’s the right thing to do on the merits. Even more specifically to this moment it’s important because the forces of fascism are inherently better at political violence than the forces of civic democracy.
