Dear tRump regime: If you ACT fascist you ARE fascist. Pointing this out in no way incites violence. It DOES incite regime change by way of the voting booth.

You know where to find me.

Apparently you couldn’t pay young people to watch old movies. But they’re the closest thing we have to time travel. Here’s a gem of an artifact from the first few minutes of the 1956 film Autumn Leaves: the Remington Line-a-time, made for rewriting: americanhistory.si.edu/collections/...

Marimar Martinez is a US citizen who was shot by ICE five times in Chicago.

She was then arrested, labelled a “domestic terrorist” and slandered on social media.

All charges against her have been dropped.

In this interview she shows on of the seven holes the ICE agent put in her body.

“Babe? Babe, wake up. The pro wrestling lady says your engineering masters is no longer a professional degree.”
🧵 Let’s be so effing for real right now. The Department of Education saying these jobs are no longer PROFESSIONAL is dumb as hell and insulting as fuck. It takes YEARS of post-graduate training, including passing certifying exams, to earn degrees in these fields. #fdt #momsky

A horrifying account of what is essentially a death cult operating not far from me—and making big money from it. Such appalling indifference to these mothers’ pain! Yes, there are unethical obstetricians, but history is on the side of medicine: pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC...

“I’ve got to find the women who are ruining the workplace…I looked in the Pentagon, but if anything, fewer of them seem to be working there lately. I looked in the White House, but the women there just seemed to be behind podiums making excuses for the men.”
Before women, the workplace was perfect. It was full of trees. There was no need to labor with your hands. You didn’t have to wear pants, or any form of clothes. Every kind of animal was there.

Hmm I may be thinking of something else women supposedly ruined www.theatlantic.com/newsletters/...

Good analogy (not that he needs me to confirm that). I'm continuing to classify Ms. Greene as a "rabid squirrel in a bag" until further notice.

If you use GMail, AI (Gemini) was turned on yesterday by default and now scans all of your content for machine learning. To turn off, go to Settings>General and scroll down. Uncheck the box for "Smart features."

There's other "Smart" add-ons as well, but that's the one that reads your content.

Apparently Apple is forcing its AI into everything now. Even third-party apps like Scrivener that DO NOT WANT IT.
This is like ordering a meal through DoorDash but before the driver brings you the food from the restaurant they open up the box to put a turd in it.

So depressing. Can we put tariffs on crap, please? Put an end to fast fashion for once and for all? Wear the same dress to the office more than twice? Stop giving children the latest plastic toy so they can break it within hours? We are drowning in useless goods and wasting the earth’s resources.
