I have fond memories of meeting immigrants from all over South and Latin America when I lived in Charlotte. So many lovely people, and this just breaks my heart.

"You want to take breakfast with me, I'll pay," said he told one agent. After 15 minutes of stalling, Mr. Aceituno, who is originally from Honduras, confirmed he was a citizen. The agents let him go. As he settled into his vehicle, another group of Border Patrol agents approached. They banged on his window, he said, demanding he provide documentation. "I got papers," he said. Then, Mr. Aceituno said an agent broke the driver's side window of his red Ford pickup and removed him from the truck. He was placed in handcuffs and put inside of a vehicle, where he was detained for about 20 minutes before agents let him go, he said. "It's terrible," Mr. Aceituno said.

In his head, tRump doesn't live in the same world we do. He believes he should be immune from the indignities of reality. Thus, an elevator malfunction has to be sabotage; revenge must be taken on the head of an investigation in which he was cleared: How dare anyone subject tRump the Magnificent to questioning by mere mortals. Advancing age and infirmity have got to be particularly galling-THERE's a reality that cannot be denied, and one reason he eats up the "Al slop" that shows him in fighting trim he never had. And any comedian who dares point out his nakedness has to be silenced, so Trump can stay in his comfortable alternate reality.

“Midnight Lace” was a decent film, but the hats were hilarious! Ms. Day wore her own gowns; perhaps the hats were costumer Irene’s revenge?
Doris Day wearing a gray cloche hat that must have made the rounds of thrift stores since the twenties, until the costumer found it and added a ragged red bow left over from the office Christmas party and a wire hanger from the coat closet Myrna Loy’s hat appears to be a straw plant basket turned upside down, given a violent twist, and cinched tightly with a green ribbon. Ms. Loy and Ms. Day were nearly the same height, but in this hat Myrna would have had a four-inch advantage on Doris.
