What's funny is that if anyone involved had checked the industry temperature before doing this, they'd know that a grip of folks were already boiling hot over royalties and shrinking salaries and that this was the WORST possible time for a hard AI press.

Anyway, to sum this up quickly--it's a Russian nesting doll of predatory behavior. Target innocent black and brown youth, give them AI tools produced with stolen work that will spit out garbled stolen work, and then steal these cribbed "remixes" from children hoping for a jackpot.

Been participating in the alpha test for the new #AvatarLegends fighting game. Really cool game (the art and animation are gorgeous). Korra’s probably the strongest fighter, but Katara fits my style the most. Overall, really nice how thoughtful and characterful all the moves are.

Of all of the adaptations of Dickens’ A CHRISTMAS CAROL, few have captured Christmas Future and Scrooge’s graveyard panic as well as MICKEY'S CHRISTMAS CAROL. Beautifully animated. Utterly sublime with exquisite nuance. Chilled me as a child. Still impactful as an adult.
