This headline is misleading. This wasn’t an anti-LGBT bill. This was an amendment on a sweeping defense authorization bill. I agree we need to stand up for trans rights, but this wasn’t a bill we could not pass. We will, and must, keep fighting.
When I said that liberals would gladly throw trans people into a wood chipper if it meant they could keep doing genocide in the Middle East, I was extremely correct. Everyone who doubted that prediction even for a second should staple their mouths shut.

We now know that the man who shot the National Guard troops worked with the CIA for years in Afghanistan in a covert unit that was accused of the widespread killing of civilians. This raises so many questions about why this guy travelled from Washington State all the way to DC to shoot soldiers
