After the better part of a decade, I’m back on my fanfiction-writing bullshit!

“Invisible String” is based on "The Sisters of Dorley" by @badambulist.bsky.social. It's about a trans girl trying to transition, an ex-sponsor trying to help her, and the secrets they’re keeping from each other. 1/2

“You mean a sponsor,” Summer said flatly. “You want me to sponsor a free-range trans girl. Tabs, you know how my last sponsorship went.”

There was a hitch in Tabby’s breath; Summer could picture the wince that caused it. “You know I wouldn’t ask you to do that, girlie. This is different. She doesn’t just need it—she wants it. And frankly, we’re out of options. It’s you or the basement.”

Last night, I told the kids daylight saving time was started due to the war efforts and my husband was like, actually, it was to help the farmers. So I fact-checked his ass, and I’ve never had a screenshot so convenient for my own personal gloating
