I get that we all want to be in a world where Wikipedia somehow blocks these companies and they can't use it, but that's not actually feasible because they're not gonna stop being sneaky and dishonest. This deal will help Wikipedia continue to exist for the rest of us, imo.
Sure. AI companies have ALWAYS been training their models on Wikipedia content, which under the free and open access model is available to anyone — including AI companies. Agreements like these require AI companies to limit and offset the strain they place on Wikimedia infrastructure.

I've been re-replaying Red Dead Redemption since they released a PS5 version of it and what I really love about this game, maybe even more so than the sequel, he's just how desperate John is. He ends up in some really compromised situations and does terrible things just to get his family back

As someone who had four different offshore recruiters from the same agency call him about the same job in the space of 20 minutes this morning, I'm begging companies to reevaluate this practice. One good recruiter in the US is surely worth more than four people in India.

I am introducing the Quick Recognition (QR) Act, which requires ICE and CBP officers to wear uniforms featuring QR codes. When scanned, the code would generate a digital ID displaying the officer’s name, badge number, and law enforcement agency.
