Stares in Canadian.
U.S. AG Pam Bondi has basically said anyone visiting the US is subject to arrest and incarceration at any point, if law officials deem the individual a “threat”.

Bang goes the rest of the international tourism trade!
Please tell me that the young republican was also thrown out of the restaurant.
That’s the Catbus. Columbus is a type of farm machinery designed to harvest seeds.
That's a column. Columbus is the name of the large friendly vehicle in the movie Totoro.
That's Columba.

Columbus is a narrow vertical structure supporting floors or the roof of a building

If anyone needs me I will be in the museum, lying down next to the bog bodies.
Did people really memorize phone numbers before cell phones, or is that just a movie thing?
2? Questions
I was watching some old shows from the 90s and noticed people would just dial numbers from memory - like they'd call their friends or family without looking anything up.
Made me wonder if that was actually normal back then? Did people genuinely have all their important numbers memorized, or did most folks keep a little address book or written list nearby?

Apparently, so is Canada. Kind of makes one wish Carney would take his AI-everything blinders off and expand his focus to other important areas/fields. 😑

I wish any British politician would say anything even half as good as this
UNTIL IT’S DONE, Ep. 4: Sylvia Rivera

In the 1970s, queer New Yorkers had been pushed to the margins of NYC. Our trans neighbors faced immense cruelty. But in Sylvia Rivera, they found a champion.

As we combat Trump’s politics of darkness, her legacy can light the path forward.
That thread is traumatizing! So much judgement!

I love the part about Charlie voting Liberal.
I spoke up about Pierre Poilievre today and got this threat on facebook. Josh Levy tells me to watch my back.
No Josh, I will keep speaking out about building a better Canada regardless of the threats you make to me or my loved ones.
It’s like I don’t even know you.
That’s an interesting idea.
The show’s queer storylines are… less than ideal.
I like that in concept, but finding enough space to build facilities seems unlikely.
I like that idea. I’ve only been to Den Haag once, so I’m not sure how easy it’ll be to find real estate space. But Schiphol is basically close to everything in the Netherlands.
There would probably be huge pressure for a G7 country.
A diverse local population (and therefore greater access to translators) sounds like a good idea.

Sydney feels like it could be a candidate. Part of me likes the idea of Mexico City but I know too little about the city, really.

Lisbon? Amsterdam? Paris?
I've been pondering the question, "what country should be hosting the UN?"

I don't think you could choose a city like London (England) or Toronto because of real estate. But you need some major city with a significant International airport.
This pose (and the piece in general) gave me an instant "wow."
The piece looks great.

Any thoughts about the insignia? It's the same one that Hawkgirl from the Superman movie uses and I think I interpreted that as a stylized JG (for Justice Gang) symbol.
While the father-daughter relationship between Veronica and Keith Mars is clearly the greatest strength of the show, I confess that my favourite supporting character was Mac.
