I feel uncomfortable when I don't have a craft project with me. It's like a fidget toy or maybe a favourite (but generic) stuffed animal. Today's project is a Canadian flag that I'm hooking on burlap.

I'm pretty good with music from the last 10 years because I ride in the car with my kid. Those one word bands from the 90s, I don't know their music and don't understand how they could write whole songs but only come up with one word names #kidding
Intern was teasing me about being Gen X and said, “You probably never even heard of Dua Lipa!”

Oh please. Everyone knows about that language app with the stupid owl.

Good tips - and evidence that DEI helps everyone
We are problem solvers, contingency planners, and experts at adapting to a world that wasn’t made for us. This is why #disabled voices belong at the heart of every movement: because we already know how to navigate a world that tells us we don’t belong.

Survival makes us problem solvers...
Disabled people are built for resistance. Our health challenges may make it difficult to withstand stress & upheaval, but we’re skilled at problem solving, contingency planning & adapting to a world that isn’t build for us. We are adept at survival

We should be included in all resistance efforts
