My blindness is complicated. This is just part of it 😎

As a blind dude, I can tell if you’re beautiful or ugly due to the way you talk to people & how you treat them…

True beauty isn’t a visual aesthetic. You can look great & be a truly ugly person but a truly beautiful person will always shine through their visual aesthetic & be beautiful regardless.😎

Arrogant is those who overlook the elderly. Once, they too were vibrant and wild, before mortality ravaged their body with age. A lifetime of stories & characters they encountered.
Mine those elderly minds gently but with haste. Before memories are forgotten and another individual history is lost 🤔😎

I’m unpublished as yet but enjoying the art of writing. I started writing when I went blind. I always loved reading, & when I couldn’t do that for myself anymore, I took up writing to reconnect with words & exercise my imagination. I mainly write Crime & Sci-fi but still explore other genres too 😎

While coming to terms with going blind & #ChronicIllness I moved home. Having no family to turn too, I hooked up with old friends, made new ones, fell in love with an amazing woman (who feels the same,) & set up a successful business.
Don’t tell me Blind & #Disabled folk can’t have a great life too😎

After 2 days of all out #Insomnia, I’ve been fighting sleep all evening to be sociable with our friends. They leave & I immediately retire to bed…

The improvement in accessibility generally is amazing but blue sky has certainly put it at the centre of things. I appreciate all efforts made & just want folk to have fun with it & not treat it like a chore 😎

Just had an American tourism advert on tv…

It’s fighting a hard battle against Trump’s hellscape of murder, terrorism, & fire but not really landing a punch. If the President says it’s so unsafe it needs martial law. Then it’s not safe for tourism. Why would he lie? (Other than political gain.) 😉😎
