It's already on the verge of ruining family farms. Those that survive are going to have to turn to other crops to do so. And good luck finding anyone to harvest them, because the Nazi Republicans' ICE Gestapo are rounding up all the farm workers.

We're going to experience a self-inflicted famine.

In other words, it's not a natural domestic market, it's something that the feds propped up as we sought to globalize our agriculture exports. Now, the hand that giveth also taketh away, as Trump's idiotic trade war has led our largest buyers to turn elsewhere. It is ENTIRELY Trump's fault.

I well remember the push to farm soy in the 90s and 00s. Our primary crops in Hillsdale County used to be corn and wheat, and we still have plenty of corn and wheat farms. But soy became a big business because the government made it affordable through subsidies.
piperformissouri.bsky.social
Farmers grow what they grow because of farm policy.

We don’t need all the soy and corn that we grow, but those are the commodities that receive subsidies and markets.

If we want something better, if we want to heal the Earth and grow food, now is the time to do it.

In other words, Mayor Deegan DOES have the authority to remove this statue. You're welcome for the correction.

Note to Matt "Diaper Fetish" Walsh: Jacksonville is a strong-mayor city, meaning that the mayor is the chief executive of the city's government, as opposed to a WEAK-mayor city, in which the executive is the city manager, who only acts on the orders of the city council.

The Supreme Court of the United States is already illegitimate with three "justices" appointed by a Russian KGB agent named Krasnov who committed treason to get elected as U.S. President in 2016 and is, himself, illegitimately holding office yet again. They are to be defied.

Alito, joined by Thomas and Gorsuch, suggest that public schools violate the Constitution when they help a student transition (by acknowledging them as trans) without their parents' knowledge or consent.

Would force schools to out trans kids to their parents. www.supremecourt.gov/orders/court...
SUPREME COURT OF THE UNITED STATES
JONATHAN LEE, ET AL. v. POUDRE
SCHOOL DISTRICT R–1
ON PETITION FOR WRIT OF CERTIORARI TO THE UNITED
STATES COURT OF APPEALS FOR THE TENTH CIRCUIT
No. 25–89. Decided October 14, 2025
The petition for a writ of certiorari is denied.
Statement of JUSTICE ALITO, with whom JUSTICE
THOMAS and JUSTICE GORSUCH join, respecting the denial
of certiorari.
I concur in the denial of certiorari because petitioners do
not challenge the ground for the ruling below. But I remain
concerned that some federal courts are “tempt[ed]” to avoid
confronting a “particularly contentious constitutional questio[n]”: whether a school district violates parents’ fundamental rights “when, without parental knowledge or consent, it encourages a student to transition to a new gender
or assists in that process.” Parents Protecting Our Children, UA v. Eau Claire Area School Dist., 604 U. S. ___,
___–___ (2024) (ALITO, J., dissenting from denial of certiorari) (slip op., at 1–2) (citing Troxel v. Granville, 530 U. S.
57, 70 (2000) (plurality opinion)). Petitioners tell us that
nearly 6,000 public schools have policies—as respondent allegedly does—that purposefully interfere with parents’ access to critical information about their children’s genderidentity choices and school personnel’s involvement in and
influence on those choices. Pet. for Cert. 24. The troubling—and tragic—allegations in this case underscore the
“great and growing national importance” of the question
that these parent petitioners present. Parents Protecting
Our Children, 604 U. S., at ___ (slip op., at 1).

NT Chief Minister Lia Finocchiaro (CLP) is doing this either out of reckless negligence toward, or with the intention of, procuring trans women inmates for the purpose of having them raped.

This is what sending trans women to men's prisons does. This is all it ever does. This is what it is for.

The NT Government is importing culture wars, and putting the safety and welfare of trans women prisoners at serious risk, by announcing they will send trans women to men's prisons. #auslaw #trans #transphobia

Gavin Newsom, as with all liberals, is a shitlib.
madamephosphorus.bsky.social
Vetoing HRT stockpiling is so fucking ghoulish.

If trans people make it the next 4 years en masse, it will be from our own strength, not because of the Democrats.

"You can change your name, but you can't stockpile on life saving care!" Kiss my ass.

CA UPDATE:

Newsom has signed these queer rights bills:
- AB 82 / SB 497 (Medical privacy)
- AB 1084 / SB 59 (Name/Gender changes)
- SB 450 (Adoption access)

And vetoed these bills:
- SB 418 (HRT stockpile)
- AB 554 (PreP)

Final total: 8 bills signed, 2 vetoed.

These are the Nazi States of America.

Thinking about how much of their violence has been normalized already, how scenes that caused shockwaves 6 weeks ago are now part of the rhythm of daily life. Watched a TikTok from a daughter who has to do her parents' laundry & get their groceries because they're in hiding. This is just it now

I and many others have been saying it all along. Pretty much everyone has brushed us off. It's intentional ignorance, plain and simple.

We are living through the most consequential shift in the constitutional government of the United States in over a hundred and fifty years and nobody seems to have even noticed yet.

You mean like the rockets Musk keeps blowing up on the Texas coast?

Besides, NASA and JPL are public-private partnerships. These dipshits ignore the fact that cutting NASA funding means less money going to the private sector out of the government coffers.

Hey, you remember when he came over here to the States to try to push his bullshit, and even OUR conservatives were like "yeah, sure, okay"? That was CPAC in 2018. Y'know, one of the organizations known to work with Russia to get Trump elected two years prior. I wonder who paid for that trip...

George Washington's farewell address, 1796.

We were warned. We didn't listen. Now we're in exactly the situation he predicted.
The alternate domination of one faction over another, sharpened by the spirit of revenge, natural to party dissension, which in different ages and countries has perpetrated the most horrid enormities, is itself a frightful despotism. But this leads at length to a more formal and permanent despotism. The disorders and miseries which result gradually incline the minds of men to seek security and repose in the absolute power of an individual; and sooner or later the chief of some prevailing faction, more able or more fortunate than his competitors, turns this disposition to the purposes of his own elevation, on the ruins of public liberty.

yeah man, trans reporters, whom the ny times derogatorily calls "trans activists" so that normies won't listen to them, have been reporting on ADF activity in the UK since 2018.

bigotry in journalism makes you late to the story.

Really important NYT investigation finds that the ADF has been working with Reform, 'courting the party since at least 2024' and that the British arm 'orchestrated Mr Farage’s appearance in Congress, reaching out to ask if he would like to give evidence on censorship'
